We at Marine Lines Junior Chamber Charitable Trust believe we can rise by lifting others. Since the establishment of trust in 1991 under the guidance of our Founder President JCI Sen Dr. Jivraj S Shah, our trust has started many Permanent Projects which are intended to benefit all sectors of the society. With the dedicated efforts of all Past Presidents of JCI Marine Lines, the trust has got a corpus fund of over 4.9 Crores which has been deposited in Nationalized Bank as Fixed Deposits and the interest yielded are being utilized to fund our Permanent Projects.

The projects funded have helped lives of millions of people. We have installed Cold Drinking Water Fountains at 5 different places spread across Mumbai. Under the Medical Aid Projects that included providing aids to poor and needy for Heart problems, Vision issues, treatment of Cancer, Kidney disorders and Dialysis, Providing Child and women care supplies, the trust has been able to serve to more than seven thousand patients.

Our Trust also believes, that education is the most powerful weapon that can change the world. Hence, the trust runs Education Aid Projects such as Primary Education Project, Secondary Education Project, Higher Education Project, Girl Education Project and Undergraduate Education Project. Through these initiatives the trust has been able to bring a light of happiness for the underprivileged.  

The trust is continuously striving to reach more and more community members and is active all throughout the year. That means, people are being helped in some or the other way while you are still reading this. Someone might have just got an aid for their eye-surgery or financial help for cancer treatment or money to complete their child’s basic education or is drinking clean and cold water on a hot summer day.

Our motto is to reach out maximum kind hearted people of the country who wish to contribute with little part of their income for these social services. Our Trust is registered with the Charity Commissioner of Maharashtra. Also all our donors can avail benefit under section 80-G of the Income Tax Act.
